As a French not-for-profit organization, IFE is governed by a board of directors (Conseil d’Administration) composed of French academic figures from the University of Paris and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (“Sciences Po”) and professional practitioners as well as a representative of the American academic community. Day-to-day operations are in the hands of an administrative staff based in Paris, who also oversee the work of local staff and faculty in Strasbourg and Brussels. Besides a staff of full-time administrators based in Paris, IFE’s human resources include a loyal group of professors in Paris, Strasbourg and Brussels who instruct IFE courses, as well as research advisors in these three cities who work individually with students.
